These are the TroyLabs Terms & Conditions for the TL Alumni Network and TroyLabs text messages. See also our Privacy Policy.

SMS Terms

Program: TroyLabs event texts, sent by TroyLabs leadership. TroyLabs is a student-run startup accelerator at the University of Southern California (a student organization, not operated by the University). More: TroyLabs Texts.

What you get: invitations to TroyLabs events (demo days, speaker nights, socials) and important club announcements, sent to TroyLabs members and alumni who tick "Text me TroyLabs event invitations" on their TL Alumni Network sign-up form or profile. Texts are optional and not required to join; turn them off on your profile at any time or reply STOP.

How often: a few messages a month at most. Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed, and your profile setting turns off. Reply START to sign up again. Reply HELP for help, or email troylabs@usc.edu.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The TL Alumni Network

The network is for TroyLabs members and alumni. Leadership approves every member. Use other members' details only to connect with them; don't share the directory outside the network or use it for spam or sales. Leadership may remove anyone who misuses it.
